Nate is the Director of Personalized Learning for ReNEW Schools, a Charter Management Organization serving 4,000 students across 7 schools in New Orleans, LA. Prior to ReNEW, Nate taught for 6 years at public, private, and charter schools in Washington, D.C., and New Orleans. A Google for Education Certified Trainer and Innovator, Nate consults with schools and presents at conferences around the country about technology integration. He is also involved in edtech-related learning communities in Louisiana, including co-founding both the state’s monthly teacher Twitter chat - #LAedchat - and its Google Educator Group (GEG), in addition to organizing New Orleans’ EdCampNOLA and EdTechMeetup.
