Differentiate Lessons, Content, and Assignments with Google for Education
Now that you've got the basics down, come explore how to integrate the use of Google Apps into your classroom. During this workshop, we will dive into different activities that can be used in grade 3 - 12 classrooms. Activities for the core content areas (ELA, Science, Math, and Social Studies) will be covered.

Workshop Outcomes
  • Learn how to design, implement and manage Google tools to create an interactive classroom.
  • Engage in interactive activities that you can utilize as a part of your lessons for creating a collaborative student-centered learning environment that help students exercise 21st century skills.
  • Create media-rich Google environments (lessons and activities) for collaboration, communication, homework help, anytime/anywhere learning opportunities, and innovative and creative outlets for student assessments.

Avoid over prescription and stop denying your students the chance to explore by implementing The Inquiry Design Model (IDM).  Learn how to create a quality IDM lesson, practice question writing, integrate appropriate technology tools, and collaborate with others to create a lesson you can use next year.  IDM lessons help students practice a variety of skills such as integrating and evaluating content from a variety of media and formats, analyzing and comparing two or more texts, and reading closely to make and support logical inferences and conclusions.  Come join the fun and explore the world of IDM.
