Assess with Google for Secondary Classrooms
Come and explore the many different options for assessing students and providing feedback in the digital age. We'll explore mostly formative assessment tips and tools, as well as creative ways teachers can provide individualized feedback to students for projects and assignments. In this hands-on session, we'll explore Google Forms with the new Quiz feature, a few Google Spreadsheet Add-Ons such as Doctopus and Goobric for rubric grading of Google Classroom assignments, Flubaroo for auto-grading formative assessments, Autocrat for personalized feedback on assessments. If there’s time, we’ll explore other feedback and assessment tools such as Formative, Socrative, Kahoot and more! Attendees will focus on assessment, feedback, assignments, peer assessment, etc.

Boost Math Instruction and Engagement with Google Apps (Secondary)
This hands-on workshop features how we can integrate technology into the math classroom for 7th-12th grade. Come learn the ins-and-outs of these tools that allow math concepts to be learned and showcased so that we can best support student learning outcomes and provide meaningful feedback. We will be exploring how these tools, apps and websites can promote collaboration, deep understanding and learning with students on a daily basis.
