CCSS ELA: Google Tools for the Common Core
Picture this: Close Reading + Chromebooks + Google Classroom + Google Docs + Google Slides…Come see how it turned out!

In the Common Core, students have a new relationship with text. In this session, we’ll look at examples of using a variety of Google Apps in Google Classroom for activities to support the major shifts in the K-12 ELA/Literacy standards, including Close Reading and an emphasis on expository text. We will also look at some sample ELA performance tasks and resources that support the CCSS ELA standards.

Attendees will explore tools and strategies for answering the following questions:
